An Introduction to the Child Safe Standards

/    /  An Introduction to the Child Safe Standards

In this webinar participants will gain an understanding of the Child Safe Standards accepted by the NSW Government.  The Standards provide a framework for making organisations safer for children. The webinar aims to provide an understanding of the indicators and ways you can meet each Standard.

A unique feature of this training is that we record live acting of leaders and staff re-enacting a child abuse concern in the workplace.  Participants are encouraged to witness and workshop the scenario and discuss how they can prevent abuse through application of the ten Child Safe Standards.

This highly popular and interactive aspect of our training allows staff to view and discuss a real time child abuse scenario,  the opportunity to practice what they have learned, and helps workers to be prepared to manage any future child abuse concerns they face in their own workplaces, and prevent abuse.
