Standard 4 of the Child Safe Standards recognises that child safe organisations foster a disability-inclusive culture. Disability discrimination, whether intentional or unintentional, works against a safe and inclusive culture. Research states that an organisational culture that allows discrimination to occur may increase a child’s vulnerability to sexual harm. This webinar looks at the current legislative context that protects children with a disability from discrimination, the importance of building a disability inclusive culture, and the role of managers in preventing discrimination.
