Unconscious Bias in Child Safety

Date: TBA 10 am and 6 pm
Duration: 1hr

The Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse found that unconscious bias can enable abuse to occur, and impede identification and disclosure of abuse – without our awareness.  According to the Royal Commission training needs to cover specific topics including combatting stereotypes to comply with Standard 7 of the Child Safe Standards.  This webinar addresses unconscious bias in child safety, and looks at different types of interventions that challenge unconscious bias.
